Frequently asked questions which may help with your booking.
 
What is the difference between cosmetic and airbrush makeup?
Cosmetic makeup is traditional brush applied makeup, I use a wide range of luxury brands, suitable for all skin types. Airbrush makeup is an air generated machine to apply high definition foundations, the method is cooling and relaxing. Airbrush foundations are designed for an instant matte set finish. I would therefore recommend this for normal to oily skin types. 

How far in advance do I need to book in?
Dates, especially for weddings in peak time - March to October fill 1-2 years in advance typically. I would recommend getting in touch as soon as you know of a date/time/occasion which you would require services for. 
 
What brands do you use in your kit?
I use numerous different brands in my kit to ensure a wide variety and something suitable for all of my clients. Some brands I use in my kit are, MAC, Illamasqua, Bobbi Brown, Charlotte Tilbury, Benefit, NARS, Giorgio Armani and more. For my airbrush kit I use the Mistair range. 
 
Do I come to you or do you come to me?
I am a mobile artist so will travel to you, travel expenses may apply depending on location. 
 
Do I need to do anything in preparation for my appointment?
I strongly recommend to look after your skin prior to your makeup appointment to ensure the best base possible for the makeup. Exfoliating, moisturising and drinking plenty of water leading up is always helpful. Please do not do any form of face mask or facial treatment within 24 hours of your makeup booking.
 
Is the trial fee included in the on the day prices?
No, trials fee's are a separate payment as listed in detail on my price list.
 
Can you do just my eye makeup or just my face makeup and what is the cost?
I only offer full face makeup applications.
 
How long does it take?
Every application is different, I suggest to allow approximately an hour for one person including setting up, but it totally depends on the requirements of each individual, of which are discussed at the time of booking.
 
Is my deposit refundable/transferable?
I'm afraid deposits are non refundable and not transferable to another date.
 
What time will you need to start?
I will be in touch in advance to discuss timings. Please ensure you are ready for the booked time as I usually am working on a time schedule in order for everything to run smoothly, any long delays will be sacrificing your own detail in your makeup.
 
What is the earliest and latest appointments available?
This is totally dependable on the booking and my availability. I am happy to accommodate any time on any date requested - there may be additional out of hours charges for some requested times. 
 
What is the maximum number of people you can make over?
I can accommodate for all large party bookings, depending on availability and times. I can bring an assistant if necessary. 

Would you recommend having hair or makeup done first?
I would recommend having makeup done before hair if possible to ensure a hair style isn't interrupted within a makeup application. I would especially recommend this where a person has a fringe within their hair style. If it isn't possible, I can work around it and still ensure you will look picture perfect. It is also totally up to yourself! 
 
Is there any discount available for my booking or group bookings?
There is no discount available for any bookings at this current time.
